HR and Benefits Administrator JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking a dedicated Human Resources and Benefits Administration Services Manager. This role with require a high level of organization and self-motivation. Ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in a Human Resources/Benefits Administrator role. This is a multi-facetted role with room for growth.
Responsibilities include:
Human Resources and Benefits Administration Services Manager
- Act as liaison between clients, benefit providers, HR site coordinators and employees to investigate discrepancies and provide information in non-routine situations for problem resolution, including reviewing claims and researching problems as they arise
- Manage coordination between payroll and benefits to ensure accurate status changes and enrollments are updated internally and with any external partners
- Assist in the development, communication, and distribution of benefit plans materials to employees
- Communicate with, and resolve plan and benefit issues for, employees and dependents
- Create and maintain critical documents and spreadsheets for tracking and reporting
- Develop relationships with internal personnel and external vendor personnel to ensure communication channels are utilized to support company initiatives and an improved employee experience
- Compile, cross check, and audit eligibility and billing reports
- Maintains vendor partners’ systems with accurate employee data and benefit plan information
- Develop periodical performance reports from Benefit Administration Site and provide analysis for corporate team
- Review and analyze benefit contracts and documents for accuracy
- Perform additional special projects as required
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Three years of benefits experience preferred
- Knowledge of payroll, carrier, and benefits administration systems a plus
- Experience administering benefit plans and associated processes preferred
- Knowledge of legislation affecting benefit plans
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
- Capable of proactively seeking and implementing process improvements
- Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers and vendors
